Coach Paxton grew up here in Bend, Oregon, playing tennis, skiing, biking, fishing, and hiking. He played tennis at Summit High School where he helped the team win three state championships. Paxton also won a doubles state championship and two singles state championships during his time at Summit. He went on to play college tennis at the University of Portland before transferring to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. At Trinity, Paxton was named NCAA All-American and two-time SCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year. Paxton has experience coaching adult, junior, and collegiate tennis players. He is currently a High Performance Coach at Black Diamond Tennis Academy (Sunriver) and a local Strength & Conditioning Coach.
